A professional-email teardown, workplace scenario role-play cards, and an employability self-assessment rubric, anchored to the Career-Ready Practices. Makes fuzzy soft skills something students can see, practice, and be graded on.

What’s inside

  • A professional-email teardown and fix-it worksheet
  • 6 workplace scenario role-play cards
  • An employability self-assessment rubric
  • A Career-Ready Practices reference poster

Why teachers love it

  • Makes soft skills concrete and gradeable
  • Role-plays students remember
  • Anchored to a real framework

How to use it in class

Start week one of a career readiness unit with the email teardown. Project a flawed sample email and have students mark what is wrong before you reveal the fixed version together. Later that same week, pair students up with the role-play cards so they practice the workplace scenarios out loud instead of just discussing them. Save the self-assessment rubric for the end of the unit, when students rate their own growth against the Career-Ready Practices poster posted at the front of the room. It works just as well compressed into one 90-minute block.
