What's inside

What is this?

Every class needs an opener, and writing one for every lesson is the kind of small job that quietly eats a planning period. This is that job, already done for the whole year. There are 213 bell ringers — a topic opener for each of the 31 AP Business topics, plus two for every learning objective in the course — in teaching order.

Each one is a concrete situation — two delis on the same street charging different prices, an espresso machine bought online, a tutoring center that spots a gap — followed by turn-and-talk questions that surface the day's idea before you have taught it. Each is sized to about three to five minutes.

Every page is tagged at the top with its topic, its learning objective codes, the AP skills it exercises and the Business Canvas project task it feeds, so a warm-up slots into your plan without a lookup. Unit colors match the AP Business slide decks.

These are discussion openers, not graded checks: there are no answer keys and no Google Forms in this set. For a keyed, self-grading check at the end of the lesson, the Exit Tickets set is the matching product. This is also the bell ringer set only — it does not include the lesson slides, guided notes, case studies, projects or assessments.

This is a GREAT and professional resourse

As we are all new to teaching this course. I asked Madison some helpful questions at the beginning, and she got right back to me. Then I needed some resources pulled out (the bell ringers) as a separate file, and they did it with no questions asked!

Questions teachers ask

How do I get the files after I buy?

Instant download right after checkout: the 228-page all-in-one PDF, the 32-slide editable PowerPoint, all 213 individual files sorted by unit, and a one-page Start Here guide with the Terms of Use.

Why are there 213 of them?

One topic opener for each of the 31 AP Business topics, plus two bell ringers for every learning objective across Units 1–5. The opener introduces the topic cold; the objective-level pair lets you run one before you teach the idea and the second afterwards as review.

Do they come with answer keys?

No. These are turn-and-talk discussion openers written to start a lesson rather than to be collected and marked, so the set ships without keys. If you want a keyed, graded check, the Exit Tickets set is the matching product — 213 tickets, every one with an answer key — and the pair bundle carries both.

What is NOT in this?

This is the bell ringer set only. It does not include answer keys or Google Forms™, and it does not include the lesson slide decks, guided notes, case studies, the Business Canvas project or any assessments — those ship with the full AP Business with Personal Finance course.

Can I edit them?

The deck is native editable text rather than images, so you can change any wording, recolor it to match your room, or lift a single slide into your own daily deck. It opens in PowerPoint, Keynote, or Google Slides. The individual warm-ups ship as print-ready PDFs.

Do I need the full course to use it?

No. The bell ringers stand on their own and work with whatever materials you already teach from. They are drawn from the full AP Business with Personal Finance curriculum, so they line up with it exactly if you do have it.
